Hello Everyone,
I hope you're having a great day today!
LIVE WITH ENTHUSIASM - I love this splendid piece of writing by Samuel Ullman, the page on my website is going through the roof with views. Interesting really it is just the kind of reminder I need RIGHT NOW. Tough Week - Tough crowd.
Youth is not a time of life. It's a state of mind.
It's a temper of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigour of the emotions, a predominance of courage over timidity,
of the appetite for adventure over love of ease.

Nobody grows old by merely living a number of years.
The amazing image was generated by AI. There are so many amazing things happening in this space now. Using it well and as a a personal assistant is going to be well fabulous.
LOVED working with HOMOPHONES this week. Check out the links below
See you THERE.

When you enter a Flow State - that state where work feels effortless,
your brain behaves differently.

By sending out tons of “happy hormones.”
The good stuff.
The stuff that makes your brain go from, “Yeah…I guess this task sounds fine” to, “Hell yeah! Let’s do this!”
Your brain literally changes its chemicals to promote creativity, productivity, and learning.
And that’s when Flow State really amps up.
Check it out on Virtual Teacher click here

Fabulous Site with lots of games & interactives K-6
Clocks,Perimeter, and Arithmetic of course.
Some of my favourites of ES1-S1 are Addition Scale,

Citizens of the Planet Homophone are totally confused, chaos reigns and they don't know which to write there, they’re or their.
The Monarch says, "Over there are a group of citizens. They're having trouble figuring out which words to use. They have their iPhones at the ready but what will they type?"
Can you help them?
Challenge 1
Take 3 photos illustrating examples of each Homophone for
there, they’re and their.
Write a sentence explaining each picture - you can use arrows or circles if you like.

Love Love Love the Canva Design Skills for Students Videos. You can just show them to the kiddos and learn along with them. The lessons are easy to follow. If you prefer you can open the slide presentation in Canva as well. I rather loved the ease with which you could create charts particularly.
Here is the link to the CANVA page
It was rather fun to ask the students how they could use the Elements tab to support their learning on the topic we were currently studying. They actually came up with some great suggestions using CANVA.
One fun activity we did in Year 3 was to design a poster for kinderagarten with at least 3 x 3D Objects. Add a face and label the objects. We delivered these as digital files. Kindergarten loved them.
CANVA is FREE for all K-12 Teachers and Students.

Stop motion is always great to play with. I setup a space and built cities while using Stop Motion Studio(the free version is just fine).Check out some of the videos on my YouTube Channel for Stop Motion Cities.
Here's a pdf about Frame Rate and Mathematics that is great fun. Check out if you dare!
