by CATHY BROWN No:253 25 04 2022
Hello Everyone,

Do I have some splendid ideas for you today!!

What I’m reading and listening to this week!

The interview by Steve O of Wild Ride with Steve Wosniak, great life philosophy like Feynman, check Feynman out below.
"How to find your passion" by Oliver Emberton, a great article. I’m going to find them all, not the dreary ones, the ones who think fun and humour are important, that passion and excitement matter, this is what keeps me up at night!!!!

There’s a holiday for everything.
May the 4th Star Wars day So — Happy Star Wars Day this May 4th! It’s party time on Tatooine. Mother’s Day of course, in Australia it's May 8th, but one of my personal favourites Dance like a chicken day, May 14th. Hope you enjoy them all!!! Check out all the May holidays - click here. Choose the one you like the most.

Your Cosmic Address

With the splendid JWST now in place, check out theJWST website for updatesdates, there's no better time to update your cosmic address.
For instance, The Sydney Opera House address would be:
Bennelong Point, Sydney NSW Australia Planet Earth, Solar System, Oort Cloud, Local Interstellar Cloud, Local Cavity, Orion Cygnus Arm, Milky Way, Local Group, Virgo Supercluster, Laniakea Supercluster, the Universe.
What would yours be?

Richard Feynman - the great Explainer
Richard Feynman was a 20th century Physicist his philosophy of learning resonates with mine. And there is much to learn from his videos, enthusiasm and fun he derived from thinking and explaining.

"What do I advise?"
Forget it all. Don't be afraid. Do what you get the most pleasure from. Develop your talents wherever they may lead. If you have any talent, or any occupation that delights you, do it, and do it to the hilt!"
His video "The complete FUN TO IMAGINE has some great ideas. The first minute sets up his enthusiasm and sense of fun. At 7.18mins in he gives an explanation of the incorporation of carbon into trees and its expulsion through the catastrophe of fire. The light and heat that comes it stored sun. Fabulous visual descriptions of physical phenomena.
Another great video to watch is "How to Learn Faster with the Feynman Technique" about 5mins

THE KILLER APP
SEARCH FOR WHAT YOU SEE!!
Google Lens enables you to point your phone at something, such as a specific plant or bug, and then tap the shutter to search for the object you're pointing at. You'll not only find an answer, but also suggestions of similar things. An object identification tool.

This is pretty amazing, kiddos can take a photo and find out what it is called.
I have been having all sorts of fun with this.
Read all about the other things it can do on the Google Lens site.
Look for Lens in the search bar of the Google app for iPhone or Android
